Swanson Band

An Important Note

This is a reminder that participation in all performances is part of the overall grade. This was clearly stated in the beginning of the year Course Description Packet, and Syllabus, along with “Swanson Band Member/Parent Agreement Form” which was signed by both parent and student. If a student MUST miss a performance, they should submit a written excuse from the parent/guardian. This should be done well in advance of the performance. In these cases I will require a recording (audio and/or video, any format… DVD, CD, cassette, mp3, flash-drive, e-mail, etc…) of the student performing ALL of the music from the concert to be graded individually. This grade will substitute for the missed performance grade.
