February 10th & February 12th – Rising 9th Grade High School Band Auditions 

All students interested in taking band in 9th grade should attend the audition for whichever school they are zoned for (even if applying to another APS program/school). This audition is only to determine which ensemble your student will be in next year (Intermediate or Advanced) – any student is welcome to join band in high school, marching band is NOT required.

• Tuesday, 2/10, 6:00-8:00pm (YHS) or 5:00-8:00pm (WLHS) High School Band Auditions 
• Thursday, 2/12, 5:30-8:00pm (YHS) or 5:00-8:00pm (WLHS) High School Band Auditions

February 19th, 2:40-4:00pm – Wind Ensemble (Period 4) Pre-Assessment Rehearsal Clinic @ Swanson MS

As outlined in the Syllabus, all Wind Ensemble (Period 4 Advanced Band) students are required to attend this important, graded rehearsal in preparation for the VBODA Band Assessment – pizza will be provided for students following rehearsal!

March 2nd, 6:30pm – Symphonic Band Pre-Assessment Concert @ Yorktown HS

March 3rd, 6:30pm – Wind Ensemble Pre-Assessment Concert @ Yorktown HS

March 13th – Final Deadline for Spring Trip Payments

March 13th, 1:00-4:15pm – Symphonic Band VBODA Band Assessment

March 14th, 7:20-10:30am – Wind Ensemble VBODA Band Assessment
