- April is the Month of the Military Child, and the Purple Frogs are having a raffle! Win a gift basket with assorted trinkets and prizes. 6th, 7th, 8th, and Staff winners will be announced at the grade level assemblies on April 9th! (Make sure you wear purple on April 9th!!)

- Any 6th grader who likes Beyblades is invited to the new Beyblade club. The club meets on Tuesdays during 6th grade lunch in room 160. Any 6th grader who is interested should stop by the counseling office to pick up a pass so they can get their lunch and come up to room 160.

- The Wavelength Literary Magazine would like to invite you to their next contest, A life in color! Colors are more than just visual experiences; they evoke emotions, tell stories, and inspire creativity. For this contest, we invite you to explore the profound impact of color in your world. Whether through writing or art, let the hues of the spectrum guide your imagination. All submissions must be school appropriate and should be shared with Ms. Chiu AND Ms. Field by Friday, March 28th. - During the month of March, Food and Nutrition Services will be offering take-home meals for students who observe fasting during Ramadan through a Virginia Department of Education initiative. Meal kits will consist of one breakfast and lunch. Students are only eligible if they do not take a meal during the school day and lunch accounts will be used for accountability. Meals will be charged to student meal accounts based on their usual meal eligibility status.
- Parents/Guardians must fill out this form for your child to pick up these meals.
- Student Pick-up:Students can pick up one breakfast and one lunch from the cafeteria at the end of the school day.
- Who is eligible for the meals?Any student who is fasting can pick up meals. If a student eats lunch or breakfast at school, they can’t pick up a meal that day. Only students can pick up the meal kits – no adults.
- When?These meal kits are only available from Feb. 28-March 28 at the end of the school day.
