Antarctic krill may be in trouble, but there is something we can do to help protect krill & krill predators. A Marine Protected Area (MPA) has been proposed for the Antarctic Peninsula. This will go a long way towards protecting krill for the future. #takeoverNSF 📷Chris Linder https://t.co/ZmeAuD3BnT

On the cruise, our team used a suite of different nets to collect krill and krill food. Some nets, like the MOCNESS, allow us to collect krill from different depths of the ocean to learn more about their vertical distribution patterns. #takeoverNSF https://t.co/X1rY5azpW7
