Good Morning Swanson! Today is January 6th and it is a B Day!

• Girls Basketball tryouts will be on January 6th for 6th and 7th graders, and January 7th for 8th Graders! See Mr. Holland if you have any questions!
• Wrestling practices are underway! All skill levels are welcome! See Mr. Clements if you have any questions.
• Arlington Public Library Winter Reading Challenge is starting soon! Read 3 books of your choosing from January 1 – March 1. Keep track of your reading by completing a reading log. • Admirals, the temperatures are dropping, and Wavelength is back with another exciting school contest! We invite you to capture a winter moment by responding to one of these prompts:
  • The magic of snow or snowflakes
  • Winter adventures
  • Hibernation and cozy animals
  • Winter wonder and nature
  • Winter delicacies

  Submit any genre, and make sure your entry is school appropriate. Writing must be 750 words or fewer. Submit your entry to Ms. Chiu and Ms. Field by Friday, January 9, 2026. Happy creating!
