Good Morning Swanson! Today is February 13th and it is a B Day!

The Wrestling team battled hard but came up just short in the team results against Gunston, 38-35. Winning for the Admirals were Lucas R, Gage H, Davis M, Oyut B, Toby C, Aidan R, and Trent B.
The Girls Basketball team notched another win over Kenmore yesterday 33-18! Come out to support the team on Tuesday as they host TJ!
📘 Swanson Middle School Book Fair – March 2nd–6th • Swanson Middle School Library
- Get ready for a week of reading excitement! The Book Fair will run from March 2nd–6th in the Swanson Middle School Library. Students can browse new titles, find their next great read, and celebrate Read Across America Week.
- ✨ Special Family Shopping Hours: Thursday, March 5th • 4:30 p.m.–7:00 p.m.
  - Families are invited to stop by, shop together, and support our school community!
SKATE NIGHT! Join your Swanson friends at Family Skate Night on Saturday, February 28, 6-9 p.m. at Thomas Jefferson Community Center. The entrance fee is $3 and skate rental is $4 (or bring your own skates). Note that chaperones are not provided. All students must be accompanied by an adult. A snack ticket will be provided for each student who shows their current Swanson ID (look for a Swanson sign-in table). Swim and Dive practices begin on February 18th. Interested divers should have at least three different dives in their repertoire. Meet in the Small Gym after school with your swimsuit and towel, to await the bus to Yorktown!
Arlington Public Library Winter Reading Challenge is starting soon! Read 3 books of your choosing from January 1 – March 1. Keep track of your reading by completing a reading log.
